Born in Israel and raised in Canada, my life has been full of fresh starts. My family moved six times, which meant packing up and starting over in new neighbourhoods. Each move felt like an adventure; meeting new friends, finding new basketball courts, and making the most of every change.

These experiences shaped my understanding of what makes a house feel like home. Some of my best memories are sitting in the living room with my family, cheering for the Raptors. Those moments taught me the importance of sticking together and the value of hard work; principles that continue to guide me today.

After high school, I took on a variety of jobs. I taught drums, worked as a pharmacy assistant, and even spent summers as a camp counselor. But life had other plans.

When my dad passed away, I had to leave university to take on responsibilities I wasn’t prepared for. I pivoted to HVAC sales, where I quickly learned how to connect with people, negotiate, and solve problems.

I found success in sales, but something was missing. I wanted a career where I could make a lasting impact and help people through life-changing decisions.

That’s when my brother suggested real estate. The idea stuck with me. I remembered the thrill of closing my first HVAC sale and wondered if real estate could be my next big step.

I took the leap, and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. In my first year, I earned Rookie of the Year. But what truly mattered wasn’t the award; it was the excitement on my clients’ faces when they found their dream homes. That’s when I knew I had found my calling.

Today, I specialize in helping young professionals transition from downtown condos to their dream homes in the suburbs with my Dream Move Blueprint. I know how stressful moving can be because I’ve been through it myself. That’s why I’ve designed a streamlined, stress-free process that ensures my clients feel confident every step of the way.

My approach is rooted in clear communication, strategic planning, and expert guidance. It’s not just about buying a house; it’s about helping you find the right home where you can build your future.

Outside of real estate, I’m passionate about fitness, healthy food, and personal growth. My wife, Shreya, and I work together to grow our real estate business while staying committed to our personal well-being. We believe in building a life of freedom, success, and impact.

I never imagined real estate would be part of my story.

Growing up in India, I was drawn to problem-solving; breaking things down, finding patterns, and building systems that worked seamlessly. That passion led me to study Computer Engineering, and after graduating, I became a software engineer, constantly refining processes and optimizing efficiency.

When I moved to Canada, I continued on that path, building a stable career as a senior engineer. My trajectory was clear. Or so I thought.

Then I met Ilan.

Eight months into our relationship, I started helping him with social media. As we worked together, we realized something powerful, our combined skills had so much more potential. We weren’t just running a business; we were building something bigger. That’s when we decided to create The Portnoi Team.

With my background in technology and Ilan’s expertise in real estate, we saw an opportunity to do things differently. Real estate, at its core, is about people, and our role is helping them navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. But too often, the experience feels chaotic, transactional, and needlessly stressful. We believed there was a better way.

So, we built one.

That’s how The Portnoi Team was born, not as another real estate business, but as a new kind of experience. Every process we designed had a purpose. Every system we built had intention. We wanted buying and selling a home to feel seamless, not overwhelming.
